The first thing to learn if you are new to the Saidi cane dance is basic body framing. The basic belly dance moves you know could be framed with the cane: drops, kicks, chest circles, shimmies ... etc
The following video shows you how to frame different parts of the body with the cane using some of the basic moves you learned in the past. If you have not had a chance to learn them, refer to the "technique" section of this site and take time to learn them first. Good luck and happy dancing!
